CHANGES made to the Senior and Junior Cup competitions in Cornwall will see the finals played on separate days.
Following the county FA's AGM on Thursday, a series of changes to both tournaments were ratified including the different final days and also having the games go into extra time if they are drawn after 90 minutes.
Easter Monday, March 28, will be the Senior Cup Final date while the Junior competition will be decided the following Friday.
In the Senior Cup all teams will be entered in the first round while the Junior will see the opening two rounds split geographically between East and West.
A Cornwall FA spokesman said: "These changes will be in effect for the 2015/16 season, 2016/17 season and 2017/18 after which time Cornwall FA will evaluate their impact and seek feedback from the clubs on their success.
"The changes to the cups were made after consultation with leagues and clubs across the County and are a reflection of the views of our members."
Full details of the changes being made will be made available on the Cornwall FA website.
