The football club beat Lizard FC 6-3
HELSTON FC beat defending champions Lizard FC 6-3 in a top of the table clash in Division One of the West Cornwall Pool League.
Wins from Gary Smith, Malcolm Fox, Anthony Williams and Pete Williams mean Helston are now four points clear in first place.
The first round of the Singles Knock-out was also played with 26 players reduced to four at Helston RFC and The Godolphin Club.
Dylan Vamplew, of Lizard FC, qualified at the Godolphin club to reach the semi finals.
The Seven Stars pool team has now been moved to the Queens Arms at Breage, where all fixtures will now take place.
