Bob Hartnell and David Stephens won the fourball better ball competition
MORE than £3,000 was raised for charity by members of Budock Vean Golf Club on Sunday.
BF Adventure was chosen as the recipient of the cash for the course's annual Charity Day which alongside a fourball better ball pairs competition featured an auction and raffle.
Winning the competitive side of the day were Bob Hartnell and David Stevens on countback from Ashley Jackson and Carl Templeton with 44 points.
Mike O’Hara and Steven Penrose finished third on 40 and the best visiting pair were Bob and Jane Wooldridge, from Falmouth, also with 40.
Best female pair went to Margaret Howells and Sue Johns, from Mullion, with their score of 39 and Sue and John Rule took home the mixed pair prize with their total of 35.
