Their team list for the match included Bickland Park favourites such as Andrew and Adrian Street, Dave Sweet, Justin Ashburn and former Plymouth Argyle keeper Dave Philp.
In a separate article, it was announced that former Exeter City player Tony Kellow had been appointed as the club's commercial manager. Tony, from Budock Water, sadly passed away in February 2011.
Penryn Athletic - on their way to the Jolly's Combination League title - were 3-0 winners at Culdrose with two goals from Steve Warr and one from Paul Kneebone.
In rugby, Penryn narrowly lost to Penzance-Newlyn. In that match Borough were missing regulars James Aven, Paul Smith, Andy Day, Mervyn Randlesome and current coach Paul Trevaskis, while current Redruth coach Steve Larkins was in action for the opponents.
Falmouth had a nailbiting 20-18 victory over Newquay Hornets after trailing 18-0 at one stage in the first half - a far cry from the 51-0 demolition completed by the Eagles in their first match of 2016.
In other news, Three Tuns A are pictured after winning Division 2 of the Falmouth and District Darts League, while Peter Hirst won his third consecutive monthly medal at Falmouth Golf Club.
