Sensei Adam Collick took a karate training session at Helston School with all students and instructors being instructed in basic pair work and then kata and ippons. Senior grades and instructors moved on to more advanced pair work and pad work with Shihan Whale and the lower grades working on basic line work.
Grading followed the training, with Shihan Gilbert heading up the panel, assisted by Shihan Whale and Sensei Collick.
The following students were promoted to their next belt.
Promoted to 7th Kyu Yellow Belt: Sarah Ewen (Helston), Christelle Challand (Helston), Diogo Camacho (Kea).
Promoted to 6th Kyu Orange Belt: Chloe Collick (Helston), Coby Wear (Helston), Chloe Williams (Helston), Sarah Sowerby (Helston), Holly Johns (Helston), Holly McGroary (Helston), Marcus Penhaligon (Kea), Daniel Westley (Kea).
Promoted to 4th Kyu Purple Belt: Saffron Tremayne (Helston), Ruan Tremayne (Helston), Bayley Skewes (Helston). Promoted to 3rd Kyu Blue Belt: Andrew Tremayne (Helston).
