PENRYN RFC's Adam Hughes has been invited to the South West under-20 trials at Keynsham RFC in Bristol on Sunday.
The selection follows his performances for Cornwall under-20s and he is one of seven Cornish players chosen, although Tommy Phillips and Locryn Williams will not travel due to injury.
Those travelling to Keynsham are Tommy Lee Southworth (Camborne and Cornish Pirates PDF), Adam Hughes (Penryn), Dan Rutter (Redruth), Jack Simmons (Camborne) and Ben Stean (Camborne & Plymouth Albion).
Following the trials, regional games will be held where the England Counties U20s squad will be selected. Last year both Todd Prisk and Tommy Phillips gained England Counties U20 Caps representing Cornwall.
