FALMOUTH Men's A crew added the County Championship to their world title with victory in Newquay.

More than 70 crews from Cornwall, Devon and Dorset, as well as a crew from the H4H charity, battled it out in testing conditions over the weekend.

Falmouth's A crew won the title for the sixth time in a row, a record for men’s crews at the County Championships.

Falmouth Men’s B came a very creditable seventh, which was an improvement on last year’s 12th place.

Anyone interested in gig rowing would like to give it a try or join the men’s or ladies' squad can contact the club though their facebook page.
