A team of Mile High runners completed a remarkable 24-hour relay to raise money for Cancer Research UK at the weekend.
The athletes took it in turns to run a mile up and down the seafront, starting at noon on Saturday and continuing around the clock until noon on Sunday.
The commitment from the team in the baking bank holiday sun was remarkable, refusing to drop their pace through the night they eventually finished their last mile together running an incredible 216 miles, smashing their previous club record of 210 miles.
The club wish to thank the generous general public and is looking forward to totalling up how much they have raised for Cancer Research.
It is also grateful to Falmouth Hotel, who hosted the runners throughout the 24-hour period.
