Mawnan’s Trelawny League premier division title aspirations took a blow on Saturday as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Carharrack.
The Greens had the better of the first half pressing struggling Carharrack back.
However, substitute John Lee gave Carharrack a 1-0 lead after the break when he dribbled past a couple of players before firing a 25-yard shot in off the post.
Mawnan hit back and equalised through Kevin Morris, but the draw has seen them drop to third - nine points behing league leaders Goonhavern.
This is because Goonhavern were 3-0 winners against Gulval. Joe Carlyon (2) and Sam Mansfield got the goals.
