Truro City's future in the Football Conference has been secured after a £50,000 bond was paid
After a day of conflicting reports, it appears Truro City have been saved from expulsion from the Football Conference.
Despite a statement appearing on the conference's website confirming the club had been thrown out, the story changed again shortly after 5pm.
According to radio reports, two city businessmen stepped in with the £50,000 bond needed to guarantee the team's involvement in the league until May.
