Chacewater have withdrawn from Division 4 West of the Jolly's Drinks Cornwall Cricket League due to a shortage of players. In June this year they withdrew their second XI from Division 6 West.

Chacewater were originally members of the League from 1946 to 1967 and they were re-admitted in 1988. They finished seventh this year winning 11 and losing 8 games with three cancelled. With a number of players having moved away from the area the decision has been made to withdraw from Saturday cricket. The club are however hoping to continue to play Evening League cricket.
