A superb spell from Phil Bostock helped Perranarworthal to a welcome win at Tredrea – their first league success for over a month.


Wadebridge had early setbacks losing James Turpin and Tom McLauchlan with only 13 on the board. Matthew Gilbert followed for 12 but John Goulding (21), Neil Richards (12) and James Maycock (20) rallied.

From 60 for three the innings fell away however. Phil Bostock did the damage taking five for 14 from ten accurate overs. Perran slipped to 25 for three with Charlie Ellis striking twice.

Michael Stuart made the matching winning innings of 46 with Tom Williams making a patient 12 in a fourth wicket stand of 58. Ellis took two for 31while Barny Jackson only conceded 18 runs in his ten overs and getting the wicket of Stephen Kemp.
