Mullion went down to their ninth defeat of the season when St Just seconds won at Garro Lane by 76 runs.
Michael Cockings and Ed Langley took three wickets each as the visitors made 172 all out. Jim Pearson top scored with 38 for the home team with Phil Wheatley making 27. There’s a big game at Garro Lane on Saturday when the bottom two clash. Paul seconds currently have a 14 point advantage.
St Just 172 (J Meagor 79, M Harvey 21, extras 26; M Cockings 3-24, E Langley 3-63, D Johnson 2-27, C Hearn 2-19), Mullion 96 (J Pearson 38, P Wheatley 27; R Clackworthy 2-20, R Harvey 7-26). St Just (19 points) beat Mullion (seven) by 76 runs.
