There was a close match at Trescobeas on Saturday as Falmouth beat Camborne by two-runs to stay third in the ECB Cornwall Premier League.

Richard Kellow hit 84 runs to help Falmouth to a total of 219, with Anthony Angove hitting 56 as well.

In repley S pooley hit a half century for Camborne as they reached 217 all out. Jon Udy and Justin Stephens both took four wickets each for Falmouth.

Elsewhere in the ECB  Cornwal Premier League, Werrington moved to the top of the table by beating Paul by 52 runs.

League leaders Callington were beaten for the first time this season as St Just scored a 21-run victory against them.

Bottom of the table Troon showed their is still life left in them as they beat Grampound Road by two wickets.

The only other match saw Truro lose by 54 runs against St Austell.
