Stithians two year unbeaten run in the league has finally come to an end.
They lost by 42 runs at Cape Road. Ryan Davies held the home innings together with 85 and Stan Morris made 45.
Glyn Furnival took five for 41 from his twelve overs. Stithians looked in good shape as Chris Instance (59) and Craig Mouatt (96) shared a second wicket stand.
However no-one else got double figures as the innings collapsed. Stithians still have a 29 point advantage at the top of the table with six games to play. They host St Ives on Saturday.
St Just 247-8 (R Davies 85, S Morris 45; G Furnival 5-41, A Lean 2-30), Stithians 205-9 (C Mouatt 96, C Instance 59; M Harvey 3-56, N Stanleick 3-37). St Just (19 points) beat Stithians (nine) by 42 runs.
