Falmouth Cricket Club ended a run of two straight defeats as they earnt a draw with Callington on Saturday in the ECB Cornwall Premier League.
The result has lifted the club to fourth in the table, with St Austell dropping after their defeat to league leaders Werrington.
Jake Libby hit a 116 not out as Callington set a total of 236-5. In reply Falmouth's Stefan Churcher and Adrian Noott both hit unbeaten scores. Churcher with 69 not out and Noott with 46 not out. However, rain stopped play with Falmouth at 152-3. As a result Callington picked up 12 points and Falmouth 11 points.
As mentioned above Werrington remain top of the tale after they beat St Austell by 62 runs. A Smeeth was the hero hitting a 163 runs for Werrington.
Camborne moved into the top half of the premier league table as they beat Paul by 70 runs.
Truro's season continues to falter though as they were beaten by 84 runs at local rivals Grampound Road.
The only other game saw St Just keep up their title charge by beating Troon by 84 runs.
