Sean McCarthy has left his position as manager of Truro City FC following a meeting with chairman Kevin Heaney today.

A statement from Heaney, said: "Following discussions with Mr Sean McArthy, it has been agreed by mutual consent that as of today's date, December 7, Sean will no longer continue in his role as 1st team manager.

The club would like to thank Sean for all his efforts on behalf of Truro City Football club and wishes him every success in the future.

Until such time as a new manager is appointed, Chris Webb will assume the role of caretaker manager, commencing with our game against Evesham United, scheduled for Tuesday, December 8, kick-off 7.45pm."

The decision comes on the back of a poor run of results for City, culminating in a 7-2 loss to Stourbridge at the weekend.
