VETERAN striker Dominic Pullen showed he still has the goal scoring touch as his strike deep into injury time saw Falmouth Town secured a 2-2 draw at home to Callington Town on Tuesday evening.

Pullen had been drafted into the squad as regular forwards Rob Wearne and Kayne Trevaskis being unavailable through injury and being on holiday respectively.

He came on with about ten minutes remaining and Town 2-1 down after goals from Sam Stevens either side of half time had cancelled out a 35th minute penalty from Harry Evans for the hosts.

The Ambers looked good value for a point and finally grabbed one when Pullen's shot with virtually the last kick of the game took a deflection, looped over the goalkeeper and went into the net, sparking celebrations from the home side.

The draw sees Town move up one place to 14th in the South West Peninsula League Premier table and on Saturday travel to fourth placed Cullompton Rangers.
