The eagerly-anticipated start of new South West Peninsula League season begins tonight as St Austell host Newquay at 7.30pm.
The premier division match at Poltair Park is the first of seven games to be played over the weekend.
Newquay are newly-promoted to the premier division, but many followers of the League are expecting big things from the Peppermints this campaign.
On Saturday, Falmouth Town will kick start their season with a home match against Torpoint.
Falmouth are known for their slow starts, having lost the majority of their opening games in the CSWPL season since the League was set up.
