Luke Wort rescued a point for Falmouth Town as they drew 2-2 with Liskeard Athletic in the Carlsberg SW Peninsula League premier division on Tuesday.

Liskeard took a half-time lead, before a goal from Karl Turner on 60 minutes levelled the scores.

Liskeard took the lead again, but Wort rescued a point in the 85th minute as he beat the offside trap to run through on goal and slot a shot past the visiting keeper.

St Blazey top the league after the midweek games though as they beat Tavistock 4-0 at home on Wednesday.

Bodmin Town moved up to fifth though as they thrashed Launceston 7-1 away. Glynn Hobbs grabbed an early brace, before goals from Steve Colwell, Lee Doel, Adam Carter, Chirs Luxton, Sam Matthew and Glynn Hobbs settled the match.

Two goals from Ryan Pooley helped Camelford to a good 4-2 away win at Saltash. Kevin Murt and Dan Baslden were also on target for the Camels.

The only other CSWPL premier division midweek game saw second from bottom Cullompton lose 3-2 at home to Ivybridge.

In the CSWPL division one west, Porthleven moved up to ninth in the table as Fred Williams scored both their goals in a 2-0 home win against Foxhole.

Truro City Reserves also managed to wipe out their ten point deduction for going into administration by winning their third game of the season with a 1-0 victory over Perranporth.
