DEFENSIVE lapses saw Porthleven Reserves fall to a 6-1 defeat against Newquay Reserves in the Jolly's Combination League on Wednesday night.
Matt Sanders got a hat-trick for the hosts as they bagged four goals in 20 minutes with a Teague Lobb brace and Dom Roberts' strike seeing them to victory.
The home side had a player sent off during the second half and Steven Brown was able to pull one goal back for Port.
On Saturday, the Fishermen travel to Penryn Athletic Reserves.
