Penryn set to name new manager tomorrow after Andy Parry steps down
10:29am Thursday 24th May 2012 in CSWPL Division One (west)
Parry took over the first team last summer, following many successful years in charge of their reserve side.
This season he led the club to their best finish, of third, in the Calrsberg South West Peninsula League division west.
Only last week he also picked up the club's first piece of silverware in senior football by guiding his team to a 3-1 win over St Dennis in the final of the Durning Lawrence Charity Cup.
However, Parry told the Penryn FC board of his decision to quit the club on Tuesday night.
The club will not be without a manager for long though as secretary Mike Young announced that they had received a application for the job within 12 hours of Parry leaving.
It is expected that the club will announce the name of their new manager following a meeting tonight (Thursday).
