RYAN Reeve picked up three awards as Penryn Athletic held their annual awards presentation night.

The 22-year-old striker was named Most Promising Young Player, Combination League Supporters' Player and Combination League Player of the Season during the ceremony held at the club's base in Kernick Road.

A regular in Athletic's reserve team, Reeve bagged 18 goals during the 2014/15 season which also saw him break into the first team who play in the South West Peninsula League West Division.

After receiving the gongs, Reeve said: "I was a little surprised to win three awards, but I was happy that my performances throughout the season were noticed.

"Now I hope to kick on and get a regular place in the first team for next season."

Many other awards were handed out on the night with Tom Blewett being named Clubman of the Year and Dave Blizzard winning Sportsman of the Year.

Club captain Ben Oliver was named the first team's Supporters' Player of the Year while midfielder Luke Brabyn claimed Player of the Season trophy.

Kyle Cooke won the Trelawny League Player title and Paul Hart the supporters' prize.

Special presentations were also given to Matthew Potts after he made his 600th appearance for the club during last season and also Mark Symons, who played 697 times for Athletic before injury forced him to retire.
