RYAN Reeve is hoping to transfer his pre-season form to Penryn Athletic's first team this season.
The flighty winger has bagged six goals for the South West Peninsula League West side during four friendlies played in the build-up to their 2015/16 campaign.
These included a 4-2 success over SWPL Premier club Camelford, a 2-1 loss against a strong St Austell side and victories over St Agnes, 2-0, and Perranwell, 3-0.
Last season Reeve scored 18 goals for Athletic's reserve team in the Jolly's Combination League, which helped him earn a place with the first team towards the end of the year.
With his stock seemingly getting higher, the 22-year-old is hopeful of making a big impact in the SWPL West.
Reeve said: "During pre-season I have certainly hit the ground running and now I want to bring it into the season with the first team.
"I am feeling very good about my game at the moment and my confidence is high for the upcoming season."
On Saturday, Athletic begin their season away at Dobwalls before welcoming Sticker to Kernick Road seven days later.
Both games kick-off at 3pm.
