DEFENDING champions Helston Athletic retained local bragging rights as they beat rivals Porthleven in the second round of Dave Gardner Trophy matches.
The Blues won 3-1 at Gala Parc on Tuesday night with their goals coming from Mark Goldsworthy, Kegan McPhilbin and Matt Fox.
Ryan Trathen, who scored twice in Port's opening game against Penzance, was on the scoresheet again for his side.
The following night, Andrew Westgarth won his first home game in charge of Falmouth Town as they defeated Penzance 3-2.
Just like in their opening game of the tournament, Westgarth scored for Town while Rob Wearne bagged a brace.
On Sunday, the final round of games in the competition will be played out at Penlee Park with the Ambers taking on Port before Penzance face Helston.
