Ludgvan 139 St Gluvias 89 St Gluvias went down to a 50 run defeat at home to Ludgvan.
Jordan Marsden top scored for the visitors in their 139 all out. Chris Johnson took four for 26 and Matthew Ambrose three for 23. Nicky Stevens wrecked the home innings taking seven for 60 with Damon Nicholls picking up the other three wickets. St Gluvias’ innings only lasted 19.4 overs. St Gluvias are at Mullion on Saturday.
Ludgvan 139 (J Marsden 32, J Olds 26, extras 22; C Johnson 4-26, M Ambrose 3-23, S Bailey 2-16), St Gluvias 89 (N Stevens 7-60, D Nicholls 3-25). Ludgvan (18 points) beat St Gluvias (seven) by 50 runs.
Perranarworthal 268-9 Wendron 176 Perranarworthal made the big score of 268 for nine in a 47 over game, due to a delayed start. Chris Mude got the Perran innings off to a great start after they had been put in.
Mude hit thirteen fours in his 59 before being caught off Antony Harris with the total at 98. Harris then caught and bowled Neil Hosken for three while Vince Schaper trapped Jamie Bridger lbw. Julian Bose was undefeated however and saw the 200 up in combination with Jack Brighouse. He reached his century before being bowled by Callum Martin for 110 that included a six and 18 boundaries. Brighouse went on to make 35 but there were some late wickets for the home bowlers.
Martin took three for 62 and Ryan Whitbread three for 70, with Harris picking up two for 37. Wendron could hardly have got off to a worst start losing Brett Andrew and Schaper with only four on the board.
Stuart Anderson made 22 but it was Harris who provided the home innings of the day hitting two sixes and 13 fours in his 85. He was out at 134 for six with three further wickets falling for just three runs before a last wicket stand of 39 between Williamson and Andrew Triggs. Bose completed a fine game to wrap up the innings with four for 21 from eight overs. Perranarworthal host paul seconds on Saturday.

Constantine 317-7 Hayle 206-6 Just a couple of points separate Barripper, Crofty/Homan and Constantine at the top of division three after Barripper’s defeat at Crofty/Holman on Saturday.
Constantine kept the pressure on with a big win at the Towans. After the early losses of Scott Thompson and Tom Glover for five runs each Richard Kellow hit 102 and Darren Griffiths 125 in a superb third wicket stand.
Russell Weetch was 57 not out when the innings closed. Darren Griffiths took three wickets in the Hayle reply. Neil Trestrail held the innings together making 119.Constantine entertain Camborne seconds on Saturday.
Constantine 317-7 (D Griffiths 125, R Kellow 102, R Weetch 57no; J Rule 2-31, L Stuckey 2-53), Hayle 206-6 (N Trestrail 119, D Allen 24, J Rule 20; D Griffiths 3-38, S Williams 2-18). Constantine (18 points) beat Hayle (eight) by 111 runs.
In division four David Angell took three wickets and made 72 not out in Perranarworthal’s five wicket win at home to St Levan.
St Levan 179 (P Angove 48, C Williams 42, D Thomas 22; L Coston 6-13, D Angell 3-52), Perranarworthal 182-5 (D Angel 72no, M Johnson 34no, L Coston 31; J Sellors 3-51). Perranarworthal (20 points) beat St Levan (six) by five wickets.
Falmouth thirds were three wicket winners at Stithians. Nathan Strick top scored with 37 for Stithians. Chris Farndon and Keith Meneer led the Falmouth reply.
Stithians 118 (N Strick 37, P Teixeira 21; S Nicholls 3-15, J Snell 3-16, D Knowles 2-50), Falmouth 121-7 (C Farndon 37, K Meneer 31, J Snell 26no; B Tann 3-25, M Rodwell 3-23). Falmouth (17 points) beat Stithians (five) by three wickets.
St Gluvias seconds lost at Ludgvan by five wickets to lose ground at the top of division five.
St Gluvias 141-8 (C Kruse 36, K Hawke 21; S Pope 4-14, I Phillips 3-39), Ludgvan 142-5 (T Robinson 43, M Slade 39no, I Phillips 28no; J Lilley 2-38). Ludgvan (19 points) beat St Gluvias (five) by five wickets.
Tim Hill took five for 23 and David Arrowsmith made 52 in Falmouth fourths win over Stithians seconds in division six.
Stithians 80 (M Bowley 27; T Hill 5-23, F Nicholls 3-27, M Tippett 2-18), Falmouth 86-1 (D Arrowsmith 52). Falmouth (20 points) beat Stithians (two) by nine wickets.
Barry Mercer with 44 was the only Mawnan player to reach double figures in the defeat against Crofty/Holman seconds.
Mawnan 90 (B Mercer 44; M Eva 4-20, S Ladner 2-6, A Downing 2-28,), Crofty/Holman 92-3 (M Schotel 50; S Hunt 2-40). Crofty/Holman (20 points) beat Mawnan (three) by seven wickets.
In division seven Constantine (18 points) beat Perranarworthal (six) by 58 runs.
