MALE golfers at Praa Sands Golf and Country Club played for the Ninnis Trophy, which also acted as the Laurie Fogg competition qualifier.
The trophy was awarded to the player with the best scratch score on the day and this ended up being Steve Strick after his round of 69.
Joining him as a qualifier for the Laurie Fogg knockout stage were Ken McIlroy, Matthew Lawrence, Andy Holmes, John Murrish, Mike Hatch, Paul Murrish, Ryan Semmens, Barry Knowles, Scott Willett, David Prowse, Tony Semmens, Michael Jacka, Ray Crebo, Fred Hayne and Rob Gall.
Elsewhere on the course, Linda Dunford won the Ladies’ Stableford Cup Trophy with 36 points, beating Margaret Richardson by two points.
Phyllis Williams third with 31 and Ros Kamping fourth with 29 on the last three holes from Anna harry in fifth place on countback from Sue Harvey and Ann Seabrook respectively.
