TROPHIES were handed out at Budock Vean Golf Club last week as the annual general meeting was held by their members.
The most prestigious prize, the Whiteside Bowl which goes to the player with the best aggregate score from the Monthly Medal competitions, went to Bob Hartnell.
John and Sue Rule also took home a prize as they were awarded the Married Couples Cup.
A change in club captain was also confirmed with David Tippett chosen to take over from Paul Upperton in the new year.
On the course, the gentlemen combined the fifth round of their Winter League with the annual Turkey Trot competition on Sunday.
David Stevens came out on top with 44 points, two ahead of Charlie Averiss, who is leading the overall league standings currently.
The seniors also ventured out onto the course for the Great Age Handicup Competition, with players’ handicaps adjusted up or down depending on their age.
Contested over 12 holes in cold conditions, it proved to be a tight affair with John Craig being awarded the win on countback from Tony Grace after the pair both scored 33.
Female members also went out for a 12 hole Christmas Cheer tournament, with all wearing festive hats and jumpers.
Finishing in first place was Gillian Pascoe, who won on countback from Lesley Upperton with 23.
