CORNWALL’S golfers took on their counterparts from the Rest of the World in a special match at Mullion.
In a closely fought clash, the invaders came out on top with the final score standing at 4-3 to retain the title.
Elsewhere at the course, the D Francis Cup was contested by senior members of the club.
Battling against gale force winds, Gary Thomas topped the leaderboard with 32 points with Wilf Hutchinson finishing as runner-up.
