Bridge A have extended their lead to eight points at the top of the Premier Division Table in the West Cornwall Table Tennis League.

An impressive fortnight saw them thrash Falmouth Docks E 9-1 and two man Docks D 8-2. Will Abouelhana and Kelly Reed both finished unbeaten, Austin Chapman won two out of five for high flying Bridge A. Dominique Williams claimed the only point for Docks E, Malcolm and Chris Peters won one game each for Docks D who are well positioned in third place in the table. Docks D bounced back from this defeat with a comfortable 7-3 victory over Docks C as Chris won all three, Malcolm two with Nick Peters winning one. Jamie Bassett and David Plumb won the three points for Docks C.

Docks A are up to second in the table after two strong matches, but they have played a game more than the teams around them. An 8-2 win over Mounts Bay A was followed by a 9-1 thrashing of Docks E, Mark Meijvis was the outstanding player over the two matches with six wins, Martin Rule still unbeaten this season with three, Paul Jenkin four from six and Locryn Vandervelde two from three. Mark Cock picked up two wins for Mounts Bay and Dominique Williams again picking up the solitary point for Docks E.

Peoples Palace A picked up their first win of the season after a comprehensive 9-1 win away at Docks F, Kevin Fudge and Steve Hunt both unbeaten on the night, Simon Jacobs with two wins but narrowly lost out to Jack Cortis.
