ANOTHER victory has kept Godolphin Club in second place of the Mining League Snooker Division One table.
They recorded a 3-2 win away at Illogan HI A, who are third in the league, but were unable to pull down the lead of STR Clinton as they crushed Lanner 5-0, with a 58 break from Alan Hurley being the highlight.
Breage played well against Playing Place A but eventually lost 3-2.
In Division Two, Porthleven put in a good performance at home to Camborne Conservative Club to win a tight match 3-2.
Stithians were also pleased with their work as their 4-1 win at Park Bottom pushing them above Radnor, who lost 3-2 to St Day, at the top of Division Three.
