PRESSURE was kept up on STR Clinton at the top of the Mining Snooker League Division One table by Godolphin Club as they started 2015 with a win.
The team travelled to Penponds and returned with a 4-1 victory which closed the gap slightly on their championship chasing rivals, who beat St Day 3-2, by a single point.
Breage had a tough start to the calendar year as they were defeated 4-1 at home to third placed Illogan HI A.
In Division’s Two and Three, the same losing score was inflicted on Porthleven and Stithians against St Ives and St Day B respectively.
