A MINOR setback was handed to Godolphin Club as they lost 3-2 against Redruth B Rail A in the Mining League.
The loss coupled with STR Clinton’s 5-0 thrashing over Redruth B Rail B means an eight point gap has opened up at the top of Division One.
It also proved to be a bad round of fixtures for Breage as they were whitewashed away at Penponds.
In Division Two, Porthleven were beaten 4-1 by bottom side Illogan HI, meaning the gap between the pair was cut to just a single point as they both fight against relegation.
Stithians remain top of Division Three after a 3-2 victory against Playing Place, but pressure was maintained on them with nearest rivals St Day and Radnor also winning.
