UNIVERSITY teams will also be heading to Bristol for the first Finn Mcouls Cup on Sunday.
The competition is being held alongside the Challenge Cup with the aim of helping develop the sport with student clubs across the UK.
Falmouth, Exeter and Camborne School of Mines will all send teams up for the contest where they will face two sides from Oxford and another from Nottingham.
Organising the cup is Tom Carlin, the England Shinty Association’s university rep, who believes it will be a great tournament.
Carlin, who studies Zoology at Exeter’s campus in Penryn, said: “What we are aiming to do is promote shinty in universities and getting it to grow across the country.
“I am quite excited about it and we got the trophy in the post the other day and seeing that has only added to the excitement.
“I know the teams are looking forward to it as well and we hope once the students leave university, they take shinty back to where they live and keep it growing.”
Alongside the tournament, a 10-a-side exhibition match will also be played between CSM and Oxford University.
