Game eight of the Cutty Sark Poker League took place on Tuesday, November 15, with three new players coming to the table.
Nigel O’Donnell recorded the best result out of the debutants as he finished third.
Second was season-regular Alistair May, whose placing this week allowed him to close the gap on league leader Shane Andrews to just 80 points.
Winner on the night was Penryn’s Joe Rundle. Joe has only been attending the Cutty Sark Poker League for the past four weeks, but has already accumulated enough points to lift himself into the top ten in this season’s table. This was his first victory.
