DIVISION one leaders Wendron CC got back to winning ways in the West Cornwall Winter Pool League after a 6-3 win over second placed team Helston FC A.

Helston RBL A had an excellent 7-2 win over Godolphin Club F, while wins from Matt Curti, Paul Finbow and Al Stevens helped the Bell Inn A team recover from a 2-0 and 3-2 deficit to win 5-4 against Lizard FC A. Harbour B won five out of the six singles in their 5-4 win over White Hart B and Three Tuns B did exactly the same against Helston RBL C.

There were major changes in division two as leaders Helston RBL D lost 6-3 to Shooters A, singles winners for Shooters A Were Phil Harding, Tim Johnson and Rob Price. Meanwhile Constantine SC A whitewashed Godolphin Club A 9-0 and are now only one point behind in second spot with a game in hand. Paris A continue to keep in touch after a 6-3 win over Bell Inn B and Gweek Inn A defeated Helston RBL B by the same score.

In division three Helston FC C and Godolphin Club D are tied on points at the top. Helston FC C won 6-3 against the Crown Inn while Godolphin Club D also won 7-2 against the Crown Inn in a rearranged game and 8-1 against Breage Sc. Unbeaten Killigrew Inn remain in touch with the top two after an 8-1 win over Helston FC B and have games in hand. Wins from Shane Miller, Christian Gordon, Johnny Gordon and Pete Courtis helped Queens Arms B to a 7-2 win over Mount’s Bay A. Helston CC have really started to grab hold of division four as they won 9-0 against Gweek Inn B and now have a seven point lead at the top. White Hart E lost the first two frames against Rodney Inn B, but won the next seven for a 7-2 win.
