A TOUGH test was given to Penryn’s Under 11s side on Sunday as they took on a strong and tall Redruth team.

A game of four ten minute sessions was arranged at The Rec to give both large squads a good run out with fierce determination shown by both sides.

The end result would be 55-20 in favour of the hosts, but Borough still showed good signs throughout.

Thomas Freeman and Solomon Littlejohn both grabbed a brace of tries each while other stand-out performances came from newcomers Tommy Tetley, Sam Laval and Jack Dunstan in both attack and defence.

All the squad enjoyed themselves on the pitch even though they ended up on the losing side, with thanks going to the Redruth coaching team for making the match so enjoyable.
