PENRYN’S Under 10s came away with a hard fought 40-35 victory away at Redruth.

Sunday’s encounter saw Borough’s score eight tries with four from George Edson, a hat-trick by Billy Jordan and another from Will Symes.

The visitors got the win thanks to their control of possession and territory with other notable performances coming from Kian Crockford, Owen Richards and Luke Whitford.

Telling tackles were made by several players to including Toby Pointon, Matthew McGougan, Hugo Allen, Noah Allen and Gabriel Verdi,

Ira Brett was also impressive as he constantly was supporting his tackled team-mates and keeping attcks alive.

Hard yards were also gained for Penryn by Jude Marven, Sullivan Jobling and Cadan Jordan to help set up scores for their side.
