A DECENT fight back was put in by Penryn Saracens on Saturday as they hosted Lanner at the Memorial Ground.
Having gone 19-0 down at half time, the hosts battled hard to score four unconverted tries after the interval.
However, a try for Lanner edged them ahead with the final score finishing at 24-20.
Scoring for the Saracens were winger Jason Jowett, who got two tries, fly-half Bill Benton and blindside flanker Josh Dale.
Praise must also go to Penryn’s fixture secretary Jon Plummer, who stepped in to referee the game not long before kick-off.
Callum Hinchley finds himself at the bottom of a ruck.
