THIS year's Cornish squad for the Tamar Cup clash against Devon has been unveiled.

A 24 man team has been named for the match at Brickfields in Plymouth on Tuesday night, kick-off 7.45pm, with a mix of new and experienced faces in the line-up.

Among the players making their first appearance in the black and gold jersey are Penryn captain George Jones and Helston native Tommy Phillips, who plays for Redruth.

Ben Hilton is included in the side, but it has been confirmed he will not take up captaincy duties at this year's County Championship with the armband going to Redruth forward Kyle Marriott instead.
