CORNWALL'S Jack Nowell and Luke Cowan-Dickie have both been included in England's training squad for the World Cup.

Stuart Lancaster selected the Exeter Chiefs players as part of his 50 man group which will eventually be whittled down to the final 31 who will represent the host nation at the tournament in September and October.

Former Mount's Bay Academy student Nowell has already represented England eight times while Cowan-Dickie is yet to received a test cap.

The 21-year-old front row forward was selected to tour New Zealand last year, but injury meant he failed to make an appearance.

Both played youth rugby for the Cornish Pirates and have featured in the England Under 18s and 20s.

The World Cup kicks-off on September 18 when England play Fiji at Twickenham, with the final squads to be announced before August 31.
