A TRIP to St Just was made by Falmouth One and All with just 14 men to call on.

Getting called up to the squad were Alex Bullock and Pete Collett, while the hosts loaned a player for their opponents for Saturday’s match, which proved to be an enjoyable game for all.

Also featuring in senior rugby for the first time was Cameron Bullock and despite his inexperience, the 17-year-old made up for it with his enthusiasm.

Free flowing rugby was played in near perfect conditions with St Just having a big weight advantage in the forwards, which they utilised at set pieces.

A driving maul set up their first try before two more were scored by the home backs, making the score 17-0 at half time.

Falmouth were not deterred by the score and shortly after the interval got a fantastic try with Eddie Rossitter, Mark Humphries and Sandy Sanders combining wll before offloading to Tom Vincent, who went over in the corner.

They continued to pressure the host’s try-line for most of the second half, but towards the end Falmouth conceded three more tries, putting the final score at 34-5.
