JUNIOR rugby players from Falmouth brought back a trophy after heading to Barcelona for a tour.

The club’s Under 12s side flew out to Spain for the Tarragona Festival where they became the first team from outside of the country to participate in the tournament.

On a lovely sunny day, the Eagles made it through to the final where they took on their tour hosts Barcelona with both sides starting the game unbeaten.

If Falmouth were feeling the pressure, they certainly did not show it as they produced a great error-free performance to claim the title.

During their trip, the boys also played other matches against Spanish opposition in the form of Barcelona and Ceves.

They also went around the city to visit its world famous tourist attractions including the Nou Camp, the home of Barcelona FC.
