FALMOUTH’S Under 13s showed fantastic spirit as they took on Penzance Pirates with just nine players.
Easter holidays took their toll on the Eagles but the game still went ahead with the visitors cutting their team down to make it a fair contest.
Proceedings were controlled for the majority by the Pirates but Falmouth did not give up and managed to dive over the whitewash three times.
With replacements available to them, the visitors took advantage of their opponents tired legs to build-up a winning score of 67-17 a week after they had won the County Cup.
Both sets of players put on a wonderful display of rugby for the crowd who watched in the blustery weather with an electric pace being set by the teams.
FALMOUTH: F Wood, G Gentile, N Shears, J Allies, J Millar, G Brooks, S Addinall, M Osmond, and G Sewell.
