TRIPLE figures were brought up by Penryn's Under 13s as they bulldozed through a St Ives who to their credit never gave up.

By the end of the match, Borough had racked up 106 point with 16 tries to their name while the Hakes went over just once.

Despite the lop-sided score, there was still plenty of enjoyment for both sides involved with the game being played as 13-a-side after St Ives turned up with ten players.

Penryn's pack were in bullish mood from the start as they set up Dan Price in the opening minutes for the first of two tries.

The Hakes kept the hosts at bay for a while before the floodgates opened with four tries scored in five minutes with Price getting his second and Sam Ahearne, Sam Price and Charlie Levick dotting down.

Everything was clicking for Penryn in attack and defence and before half time, Ahearne got his second try of the day while Jack Truen and Ollie Kingsbury also went over.

A try from the visiting number eight made it 52-5 at the interval and even though they were being trounced, when asked by the referee if they wanted to continue, St Ives' recruits proudly said yes as they wanted to see if they could get another score.

It turned out they could not get another try as Borough added eight to their total.

Going over the whitewash for the hosts were Sam Price who scored twice to complete a hat-trick, Truen, Bartosz Machnik, Levick, Archie Bawden and Tob D'Errante, whose score was his first for Penryn.

Man-of-the-match went to Sam Hammersley after he kicked 13 successful conversions out of 15.
