Next Saturday, June 23 sees Penryn RFC taking part in NatWest RugbyForce, writes Ben Gilby.

RugbyForce is a nationwide programme developed in partnership with the RFU, which aims to help community rugby clubs become stronger businesses.

Can you spare a couple of hours from 9am to approximately 1pm next Saturday, to come down the Club and help with a general tidy up?

Any time you can spare, however short, would be fantastic.

To help keep the facilities looking fantastic the club has to undertake general maintenance duties around the club, from trimming hedges to fixing fences.

The more help the club gets the more it can do!!

Refreshments will be provided and whilst the club has some equipment please bring anything in your tool-shed.

Penryn RFC are also excited to announce a Community Funday that it will be holding at The Memorial Ground on Saturday, July 14, before the Penryn Carnival.

The club's Funday will commence at 2pm with bouncy castles, games for all the family, face painting, refreshments, barbeque and the club bar will be open as well.

The event will also allow those attending to watch the Penryn carnival procession leave The Memorial Ground to make its way to the town.
