DEVELOPERS and bosses at Truro City have revealed Silver Bow in Threemilestone to be their proposed site for a new stadium.
Helical Retail has confirmed they have received an option from Wycliffe Estates to purchase the land which is just off the A30 and A390, with a planning application set to be submitted in the next few months.
It will be adjacent the proposed Langarth development which already has planning consent for 1,500 houses.
City's chairman Peter Masters said: "The acquisition and development of the Silver Bow site will create long term certainty for the Club to implement its plans.
"We can now put the uncertainties of the past few years behind us and focus on our plans to build a new Stadium for Truro City Football Club to Conference level standard whilst incorporating a much needed youth academy to channel young footballers throughout Cornwall into playing at the highest level."
