Andy Watkins and Stewart Yetton are out of Truro City's opening match of the Blue Square Bet Conference South season.

Watkins has a grion injury, while Stewart Yetton has a hamstring problem. The pair are described by manager Lee Hodges as not a '100 per cent fit' and the boss is reluctant to risk them ahead of a heavy fixture schedule.

Hodges is set to name a 12, possibly 13-man squad to take to newly promoted Billericay Town.

It will be as follows: Tim Sandercombe, Dan Green, Jake Ash, Joe Broad, Ben Adlesbury, Adam Kelly, Cody Cooke, Arran Pugh, Les Afful, Keiffer Moore, Ben Williams and Danny Carne.

Calrone Hall, a reserve team player, has agreed to sign on for the first team this week. However Hodges is still awaiting League approval.

The Truro City player manager, who is suspended for the match, also agreed to sign to players on loan from Plymouth Argyle this week. However, this move was blocked by the League as they are contracted to Plymouth.

Truro City are still under a transfer embargo, which allows them to sign only non-contract players.

Truro City still have two players out through long term injury, Marcus Martin and Martin Watts.

Marcus Martin is expected to be out for six to four weeks. Speakign about Martin Watts, who didn't play a game last season, Lee Hodges, said:
"I don't want to put a date on it because he's been out for such a long time. We're talking months rather than weeks."
