National heritage opens days celebrated by Maritime Museum

IN a few short weeks a number of popular heritage sites will be opening their doors or stores to the public, free of charge, as part of the national Heritage Open Days 2008 campaign and the National Maritime Museum Cornwall is one of them.

Those who whimped out missed out on the Carnival held on Saturday. Torrential rain failed miserably to dampen the spirits of those taking part though the small number of spectators adversely affected the size of the charity collection.
