CHORLEYWOOD's hopes of moving off the bottom of Division Two East of the Home Counties Premier League were dashed on Saturday when they struggled to a draw against neighbours West Herts.

Having dismissed the Stags for 170, Wood could only manage 124-8 in their 55 overs.

Hemel Hempstead continue to find life hard in Division One, suffering their fifth defeat in eight matches by 63 runs against Henley.

A 65-run victory over Bishop's Stortford moved improving Langleybury up to fourth in Division One of the Saracens Herts League, but Abbots Langley went down by two wickets against Luton Town.

Kings Langley and Chipperfield both drew in Division Two, but there were defeats for Watford Town and Northwood.
